Santa&Me

Camille saw Santa twice in two days. I didn't know what to expect. I put her on his lap, she looked at him and he looked at her. She couldn't figure out exactly who he was, but she never cried. They snapped a picture with the two of them looking at each other and another of her smiling. Of course, I had to get them both:)

The next day, the university I graduated from had Breakfast with Santa for alumni, so we took her. This time she saw Santa and Mrs. Claus, again she was very curious but didn't cry. Obviously she doesn't understand what all this is about but soon she will and I'm sure Santa will be tops on her list:)

I wanted to thank everyone who e-mailed me with holiday traditions, I got some great ideas!

And in my last blog, I told you Camille wasn't feeling well, turns out it was her teeth. She is getting 4 top teeth all at once!

Under the Weather

It hasn't happened in 10 months and I knew it was coming. Camille is sick. It started as soon as we walked into my parents house. My mother took one look at her and knew she wasn't herself. She woke up in the middle of the night with a fever. My husband wasn't feeling well either so at 4 in the morning I hit the road in search of infant Tylenol and a thermometer. Luckily, where my parents live there is a store open 24 hours so there I was walking the aisles in search of what I needed. Each stage of her life is a new experience for us. Right now I feel helpless. She still isn't completely herself, so she'll be making a trip to the Doctor. I'm sure like many new moms I'm overreacting. But I would rather be safe than sorry.
These are a couple of recent pictures of Camille.
