Holiday Traditions

When I think back to my childhood holidays, I am flooded with memories:) I can remember the traditions clearly. Every Christmas Eve my entire extended family would gather for dinner. My cousins and I could hardly contain our excitement with Santa on his way. Now that we have a little one, I want her to have happy memories of holiday traditions too. We have a few already but I'm looking for others and I need your help. Please email me, I'd love to hear some of your family traditions that make your holiday special!

On The Move

It is hard to believe that another milestone has come and gone. But, it's official Camille is crawling:) She's shown an interest for the last several months. She would crawl a little bit and then fall over. But no more. Nearly to the day that she turned 9 months she was off! Now she crawls like a champ. She has her sights set on our dog. She loves him! I think he may have motivated her to get moving:)

Boo

I look forward to Halloween every year. As a kid, it was for the candy! As an adult, to see the little ones dressed up. This year is special for us because of Camille. Paul Kiska, who co-anchors Good Morning Cleveland, his wife and little girl joined us for a trip to "Boo at the Zoo". Although Olivia and Camille are still just babies they seemed to enjoy it:) Olivia is a little more than a year old, Camille is 9 months. We had a blast and so did the girls. As you can see from the pictures, Camille was a pumpkin, Olivia was a duck:)
Camille sported the same pumpkin costume for Halloween in our neighborhood. We dressed up our dog as a pumpkin too, he was such a good sport:) It was such a beautiful night my husband and I took her to a few houses on our street. Then she helped pass out candy at our house. Each year as we handed out candy to the little ghosts and goblins, I wondered if we would blessed with our own someday. We were and this year Halloween was so much sweeter.
These are some of the pictures we took at Boo at the Zoo and on Halloween. I love to know what kind of costumes your kids wore for Halloween! Please drop me an email and let me know:)
